Hi! I'm Taylor.
I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Registered Nurse (RN), wife, and mother passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, postpartum, and infant feeding.
Iron Mother was born from a simple belief: mothers deserve care that feels both knowledgeable and nurturing.
Feeding your baby is about more than simply feeding. It's about confidence, connection, and finding your footing in a season of tremendous change.
Bio
Before becoming a wife, mother, and lactation consultant, I worked as a Registered Nurse in high-risk labor and delivery hospital settings. I am certified as RNC-OB (obstetrics care) and C-EFM (electronic fetal monitoring), with professional experience spanning antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
I hold a certificate in craniosacral therapy (CST) and have served in many roles over the years, including as a travel RN prior to the birth of my first son. Through my professional and personal experiences with birth and breastfeeding, I am continuously drawn to biologically aligned mothering, lactation care, and infant bodywork.
This background allows me to blend clinical knowledge with deep respect for our biological design, intuition, and the mother–baby relationship.
What I Believe
-
Mothers deserve support that feels compassionate, not rushed.
-
Feeding support should be biologically driven and honor intuition.
-
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to motherhood.
-
Confidence grows when mothers feel informed, supported, and trusted.
-
Every feeding journey deserves individualized care.
