Cancellation Policy

Iron Mother Lactation Appointment times are reserved specifically for you and your family. To ensure availability for all clients and to honor the time set aside for your care, the following scheduling policies apply. Cancellation & Rescheduling Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled without charge if requested at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full appointment fee. Late Arrivals & Grace Period A 15-minute grace period is provided for both virtual and in-home appointments. If you are running late, please communicate with Iron Mother Lactation as soon as possible. If no communication is received within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, the appointment may be canceled and treated as a no-show. No-Shows Clients who do not attend their scheduled appointment, are unavailable for their appointment, or fail to communicate within the 15-minute grace period will be considered a no-show and will be charged the full appointment fee. For in-home visits, clients are responsible for ensuring that someone is available at the scheduled appointment time. If the lactation consultant arrives and is unable to complete the visit due to client absence, the appointment will be considered a no-show and the full appointment fee will apply. Refund Policy Fees for completed services are non-refundable. For prepaid appointments canceled with at least 24 hours' notice, clients may choose to: Receive a full refund, or reschedule for a later date. Insurance-Covered Visits Clients utilizing insurance coverage through The Lactation Network, Wildflower Health, or other third-party programs are responsible for verifying eligibility prior to booking. If coverage is denied, eligibility changes, or reimbursement is not approved, the client remains responsible for any applicable self-pay fees. Emergencies We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise during pregnancy and postpartum. Exceptions to this policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Iron Mother Lactation.
